Bengaluru woman survives flu-triggered cardiac complications after Coorg trip

A 46-year-old woman from Bengaluru went on a holiday to Coorg to relax.

When she came back home, she started feeling sick, like she had a cold.

But her sickness was much more serious than a cold.

The flu virus made her lungs and heart very sick.

She had trouble breathing and her lips turned blue.

Her oxygen levels dropped very low, which is dangerous.

Her worried family took her to the emergency department at Vaayu Chest & Sleep Specialists.

Doctors there gave her special care for her lungs and heart.

They found she had ARDS and viral myocarditis.

Thanks to the quick help from the doctors, she was able to overcome the dangerous illness.
