PM Modi Calls for 9 Oaths for New India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to take nine promises for a 'New India'.
These promises include saving water, planting trees, helping poor people, buying Indian-made products, eating healthy food, doing yoga, saving old books, and visiting important places in India.
He spoke at a big gathering at the Sri Krishna temple.
He said that if religious leaders support these promises, everyone will follow them.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked people to take nine oaths for 'New India' to become a developed nation.
The oaths include water conservation, saving rivers, planting trees, improving the life of at least one poor person, adopting 'Swadeshi', promoting organic farming, adopting a healthy lifestyle, practicing yoga daily, preserving ancient manuscripts, and visiting at least 25 cultural heritage sites.
Modi addressed a gathering at the famous Sri Krishna temple complex and called upon religious leaders to join the movement.
He emphasized the importance of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India) and 'Swadeshi', encouraging people to say 'Vocal for Local'.
Modi believes that when Indian saints endorse these commitments, they will reach every person.
