Arsenal Agree £75m Deal For Newcastle Captain Bruno Guimaraes
Arsenal and Newcastle are two big football teams in England.
Arsenal wants to buy a very good player from Newcastle.
His name is Bruno Guimaraes and he is the captain of Newcastle.
The two clubs have agreed that Arsenal will pay about £75 million for him.
Some news reports say the amount could be £80 million.
Bruno started playing for Newcastle in 2022, after coming from a French team called Lyon.
For Newcastle he played in 195 games and scored 31 goals.
He even helped them win a big cup trophy in 2025.
Before he can play for Arsenal, he needs to pass a medical check, which should happen this week.
Newcastle is sad because they are also losing their coach Eddie Howe and some other star players.

The 28-year-old Brazil midfielder has been given permission to travel for a medical this week, according to Sky Sports.
Guimaraes joined Newcastle from Lyon in January 2022 and has made 195 appearances, scoring 31 goals.
He told Newcastle he wanted to join Arsenal if a suitable offer arrived and is Mikel Arteta's first-choice central midfield target.
