Adani Electricity Mumbai Repurchases $44.6M in Senior Notes
Adani Electricity Mumbai (AEML), a part of Adani Energy Solutions, has bought back a portion of its debt, specifically $44.6 million worth of senior secured notes.
This means the company paid back some of its debt early.
The money for this came from AEML's own funds.
This move is part of the company's plan to manage its finances.
Previously, the company conducted similar repurchases in November 2023 and June 2025.
AEML might also consider future actions to manage its debt, depending on market conditions.
During the April-June quarter, Adani Energy Solutions saw a net profit of ₹512.5 crore.
Adani Electricity Mumbai (AEML) repurchased $44.6 million of senior secured notes.
The notes repurchased were due to mature in 2031.
The buyback was funded through internal cash flows.
The company's outstanding debt is reduced to $255.3 million after the repurchase.
