Ashwin Warns of ODI Cricket's Future Post Kohli, Rohit

Ravichandran Ashwin, a former Indian cricketer, is worried about the future of One-Day International (ODI) cricket.

He thinks that after the 2027 World Cup, when big stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retire, ODI cricket might not be as popular.

Ashwin says that people watch ODIs because of these stars, but the format is struggling because of the growing popularity of T20 and Test cricket.

He also criticizes the International Cricket Council (ICC) for making ODIs too similar to T20s, which affects players who like to build their innings slowly, like MS Dhoni.

Ashwin suggests that the ICC should reduce the number of World Cups and revise the rules to make ODIs more interesting.
