A24 Options Josh Silver's Novel Fruit Fly

A24, a company known for making movies and TV shows, has bought the rights to make a TV series based on a book called Fruit Fly.

The book is written by Josh Silver, who is known for his young adult books.

Fruit Fly is about a famous writer named Mallory who finds inspiration in Leo, a young addict.

The book talks about important topics like privilege, being queer, and how the publishing industry works.

A24 thinks this story is special and wants to turn it into a TV show.

They have been buying rights to other books too, especially ones that talk about queer experiences.
