National Tea Conclave in Coonoor on January 29
The Federation of Indian Tea Manufacturers Association (FITMA) is hosting a big meeting called the National Tea Conclave in Coonoor on January 29, 2026.
This meeting will bring together tea makers from Assam, North Bengal, and the Nilgiris to talk about the challenges and future of Indian tea.
They want to make better rules, improve the quality of tea, and make sure the tea industry grows in a good way.
One of their big goals is to get people in India to drink more tea, aiming for each person to drink 1,000 grams of tea per year.
