Pant Leads Rest of India Against J&K in Irani Cup

Rishabh Pant is leading Rest of India in an important cricket match against Jammu & Kashmir.

Pant is not currently part of India’s white-ball wicketkeeper-batter plans.

That makes his performances in red-ball cricket especially important.

He says he will keep things simple and focus on doing his best.

Jammu & Kashmir are the defending Ranji Trophy champions.

However, two of their important fast bowlers are unavailable.

Auqib Nabi has joined India, while Yudhvir Singh Charak is injured.

The team’s coach is worried about finding a replacement, but captain Paras Dogra believes other bowlers can step up.
