Islamist Group Wins University Elections in Bangladesh
Imagine a school election.
A group called ICS, linked to a religious movement, won a big election at Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh.
This happened after they also won at Dhaka University.
This is like a big surprise because the group had been kept out of the campus for a long time.
Other groups supported by big political parties lost.
This victory might mean changes in the country's politics, with a general election coming up soon.
Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) won the Jahangirnagar University (JU) elections.
ICS secured 20 out of 25 posts in the JU Central Students' Union (JUCSU) election.
BNP-backed student group (JCD) did not win any seats.
The elections follow ICS's recent win at Dhaka University.
