Kolkata Metro to Restart Tollygunge Carshed for Improved Services
The Kolkata Metro is making changes to improve the Blue Line.
They're restarting the Tollygunge carshed.
This is happening because a station closure caused delays and congestion.
To fix this, they are separating the Yellow Line services from the Blue Line and are placing rakes at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar and Noapara.
They've also stopped the late-night Metro service.
The goal is to make the trains run on time and solve some operational issues.
