NTR District to Recheck ASDD Voters From October 8
Officials in NTR district are checking some voter names again.
The checks start on October 8, before the final voter list is published on October 16.
The names being checked were marked as absent, moved, deceased, or duplicated.
Booth Level Officers will visit homes to see whether those records are correct.
Earlier visits identified 123,714 people in these groups.
If an eligible voter was removed by mistake, the officer can accept a Form-6 application to add them back.
People whose names are missing can also apply with the required documents.
The district collector urged eligible citizens to make sure they are on the list so they can vote.
NTR district will begin another door-to-door verification of voters listed as Absent, Shifted, Dead or Duplicate on October 8.
The verification comes ahead of the final 2026 electoral roll, scheduled for publication on October 16.
Booth Level Officers identified 123,714 electors in ASDD categories during house-to-house enumeration from June 15 to July 24.
The July 31 draft roll listed 1,589,731 electors; 12,786 more people were identified as ineligible by October 6.
BLOs can accept Form-6 applications if an eligible voter was mistakenly deleted; citizens may also apply to be added to the final roll.
