Uttar Pradesh Trains ‘Special 32’ Officers In Crime Scene Management
Uttar Pradesh wants police to investigate crimes more scientifically.
It has chosen 32 specially trained officers for advanced instruction.
These officers first came from 600 police personnel trained in six groups.
Their new training teaches them how to protect crime scenes and find small clues.
They will practice collecting fingerprints, blood samples, photographs, and videos correctly.
Trainers will create pretend crime scenes to test their skills.
The officers will later help train police in all 75 districts.
Officials hope this will make investigations stronger and help courts receive better evidence.
Uttar Pradesh is training 32 police officers in forensic science and crime scene management.
The officers were selected from 600 personnel trained in six 40-day batches.
Training covers evidence collection, search and seizure, photography, videography, fingerprints, and blood samples.
Artificial crime scenes and day-and-night field scenarios will test the officers’ practical skills.
The officers’ expertise will support crime scene management training across all 75 districts.
