Umaid Bhawan Palace as Viceroy's House in Freedom At Midnight
Nikkhil Advani, the director of the show Freedom At Midnight, wanted to shoot in Rashtrapati Bhavan to depict the Viceroy's House.
However, due to security risks, they couldn't.
So, they chose Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, which is managed by the Taj Group.
The palace is huge, with 347 rooms, and they used 70 of them as a hotel.
They shot there for about seven to eight days.
The palace's grandeur helped them show the scale of the Viceroy's House.
They also filmed some scenes in actual Kashmir, including Raja Hari Singh's palace.
The show stars many actors like Sidhant Gupta and Chirag Vohra.
