Twin Flyovers Set to Flank Edappally Junction by Late 2025
Imagine a busy intersection, Edappally Junction, that's often jammed with cars.
To help, two flyovers are being built on either side.
These flyovers will have wide tunnels underneath so cars can pass smoothly.
The goal is to make traffic move easily by reducing the need to stop at traffic lights.
The flyovers will be done by the end of 2025.
One flyover will be on the way to Varapuzha and the other will be on the way to Vyttila.
They will be near the Oberon Mall and the LuLu Group office, respectively.
Twin flyovers are under construction to ease traffic congestion at Edappally Junction.
The flyovers are planned for the northern and southern sides of the junction.
Underpasses, 50 meters wide, will be part of the 650-meter-long structures.
Completion is expected by the end of 2025.
The project aims to provide seamless traffic flow by reducing reliance on signals.
