Whitney Cummings' Trump Joke Cut from Netflix Telecast

Whitney Cummings' Trump Joke Cut from Netflix Telecast

Whitney Cummings made a joke about Donald Trump during the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize ceremony honoring Bill Maher.

The joke was cut from the Netflix telecast.

Cummings said Netflix didn't cut it, but the Kennedy Center did because they were afraid Trump might sue.

She thinks it's important for comedians to be able to make jokes about politicians, especially at an event like the Mark Twain Prize, which is all about free speech.

Trump became the chairman of the Kennedy Center after firing board members appointed by previous presidents.
