Book Review: Saira Shah Halim's 'Comrades and Comebacks'

This book review discusses Saira Shah Halim's new book, 'Comrades and Comebacks,' which is about the Left political movement in India.

It's written for people who want to understand the ideas of the Left, which challenges the current economic system.

Halim, who has ties to the Left, shares her experiences and insights.

The reviewer praises the book for its accessible language, but also points out some gaps in the coverage, such as the Left's failures in West Bengal.

Despite these gaps, the book is seen as a positive look at the Left's goals of a fairer world.
