Kangana Ranaut Pivots: Gen Z Is India's Biggest Strength
Kangana Ranaut is a famous movie actress and a politician in India.
A few days ago, she got very angry at some young people who were protesting and called them bad names.
She even called them 'generation gutter,' which made many people upset.
Then, a very important leader named Mohan Bhagwat said that young people's demands should be listened to and that they should not be called bad things for protesting peacefully.
After hearing him, Kangana changed her mind.
She told reporters that Gen Z, which means young people, is India's biggest strength and a great asset.
She said young people are like ambassadors of India's culture and identity.
She also said only ten to fifteen people are behaving badly and ruining the name of Gen Z. Kangana also said that Rahul Gandhi, another leader, should have gone to Ranchi to meet students who were protesting about exam problems.
Kangana Ranaut, BJP MP from Mandi, reversed her 'generation gutter' remark and called Gen Z India's biggest strength and a great asset.
Her turnaround came a day after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said in Mumbai that Gen Z's demands should be heard and peaceful protesters should not be branded anti-national.
She made the comments outside Parliament on Friday, days after her original controversial videos.
Ranaut criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for not going to Ranchi to meet students protesting irregularities in state recruitment exams.
She clarified that Gen Z are great and only a handful of people are ruining their name.
She praised peaceful protesters in Jharkhand and athletes who dedicated their medal wins to the prime minister.
