Kolkata joins New York in top 10 most stressed cities
A study by Remitly looked at over 170 cities to find out which ones have the most stress.
New York City was found to be the most stressed, with very high living costs and lots of traffic.
Dublin came in second, also because of high living costs and long commutes.
Kolkata, in India, was the only Indian city in the top 10, with problems like traffic jams and rising costs of daily living.
Other cities like Mexico City, Manila, and London also made the list because of similar issues.
Eindhoven in the Netherlands was found to be the least stressed city in the world.
New York City is the most stressed city in the world with a score of 7.56 out of 10.
Dublin ranks second with a stress score of 7.55, driven by high housing costs and long commutes.
Kolkata is the only Indian city in the top 10, with a stress score of 6.89 due to high population density, traffic, and rising living costs.
Mexico City, Manila, and London are among the top five most stressed cities, facing issues like heavy congestion, long commutes, and safety concerns.
Eindhoven in the Netherlands is the least stressed city in the world with a score of 2.34.
