Sonam Wangchuk Continues Fast for Protester Demands
Sonam Wangchuk is a famous activist from Ladakh.
He has been on a fast for 23 days to support young people who are protesting.
These young people are part of a group called the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
They want the Education Minister to resign because of a big mistake in a very important exam called NEET-UG.
The police have been treating the protesters roughly, and Sonam Wangchuk wants the government to let the young leaders talk to the people in charge in the parliament or come to the hospital where he is staying.
He is very impressed with how the young people are staying peaceful even when they are being treated badly.
The government had a meeting with some members of the CJP, but Sonam Wangchuk says he will keep fasting until his demands are met.
Sonam Wangchuk continues his 23-day fast demanding youth leaders meet MPs or visit him in hospital.
Protesters under the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG paper leak.
Wangchuk's wife shared his handwritten message expressing solidarity with peaceful protesters.
Union minister JP Nadda met with CJP members to discuss their demands, including accountability for the NEET-UG paper leak.
Delhi High Court seeks complete medical records of Wangchuk while hearing an appeal for his hospital transfer.
