FDA Recalls Genova Canned Tuna Due to Lid Defect
The FDA and Tri-Union Seafoods have recalled some Genova canned tuna because the lids might not seal properly.
This could let in a bad germ called clostridium botulinum, which can cause a serious illness called botulism.
The company found out about the problem from their supplier.
It's important to check if you have any of this tuna and not eat it if you do.
