MCX Updates Nickel Futures Contracts for Efficiency
MCX, India's main exchange for trading, is changing how Nickel futures contracts work to make them easier to use.
They're shrinking the amount of Nickel you can trade at once and changing the last day you can trade.
Also, some places where you could get the Nickel delivered will no longer be available.
These changes aim to make trading Nickel easier, more open, and better for everyone involved.
MCX is modifying Nickel futures contract specifications.
The trading unit will be reduced to 250 kgs from 1,500 kgs.
The last trading day will shift to the third Wednesday of the expiry month.
Additional delivery centers at Chennai, NCR, and Kolkata will be removed.
MCX aims to enhance market efficiency, liquidity, and transparency.
