ECR Penalizes Over 2,000 Passengers for Railway Rule Violations
Imagine the train is like a school bus, and some people were doing things they shouldn't, like pulling the emergency stop cord for no reason or going into the girls' section.
The railway police had a special check to make sure everyone followed the rules, to make sure the trains ran on time and women were safe.
They caught a lot of people breaking the rules, like pulling the emergency cord and going in the women only coaches and gave them fines.
This made trains safer and more punctual.
East Central Railway (ECR) penalized 2,110 passengers for railway rule violations.
The special drive focused on punctuality and women's safety across five divisions.
522 people were booked for unauthorized alarm chain pulling (ACP).
