Mulund to Face 18-Hour Water Supply Suspension from August 21
Imagine they're building a new road that will help people get around faster.
To do this, they need to move a big water pipe that brings water to Mulund.
They have to shut off the water for 18 hours to move the pipe safely.
The water will be off from the morning of August 21st to the early morning of August 22nd.
After the work, people should boil their water for two days to make sure it's safe.
The new road will also have tunnels to help people travel quicker.
Mulund water supply will be suspended for 18 hours due to GMLR bridge construction.
The BMC will divert a 1,200 mm water supply main for the bridge work.
Water supply will be halted from 10 am on August 21 to 4 am on August 22.
Residents are advised to drink boiled water for two days post-work completion.
GMLR's twin tunnel boring is set to start early next year.
