This happened near a big forest called Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
The forest rangers used a special medicine to make the tiger sleep for a little while so they could move it to a safe place.
They are going to do some tests to be extra sure it was this tiger.
Because of the danger, they even stopped the fun jeep rides in the forests nearby while they looked for the tiger.
They are working hard to keep everyone safe.
