Ministers Inaugurate Sub-Station, Promise Lower Power Tariffs
Two ministers opened a new electricity station in Dharmajigudem to fix power problems in the area.
The station will help farmers and homes get better electricity without breakdowns, even during peak times.
The ministers said they will work to make electricity cheaper by reducing the cost per unit.
They also criticized the previous government for increasing electricity prices many times.
The new station is expected to help farmers and attract more industries to the state.
The ministers also mentioned that special government programs are helping people save on their electricity bills and ensuring farmers get enough power during the day.
A new 132/32 KV sub-station was inaugurated in Dharmajigudem to resolve low-voltage issues.
The sub-station aims to provide uninterrupted power supply to nearly one lakh farmers and domestic consumers.
The government plans to reduce electricity costs by up to Rs 1.19 per unit within three years.
Criticism was leveled at the previous government for increasing power tariffs nine times, adding a Rs 30,000 crore burden on the public.
Government schemes like PM Surya Ghar and PM-KUSUM are helping reduce electricity bills and ensure nine hours of uninterrupted power supply for farmers.
