GBA Chief Commissioner Directs Transparent Voter List Preparation
The head of the Greater Bengaluru Authority, Maheshwar Rao, had a meeting with officials to talk about preparing lists of voters for upcoming elections.
He said they should follow the rules carefully and be very open about how they make these lists.
He told them to check the areas where people live to make sure the lists are correct and to spend some time every day working only on election tasks.
Other officials also spoke about making sure the lists are updated and that people in the same family vote at the same place.
They will also talk to local people to avoid any confusion.
GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao directed officials to prepare voter lists transparently and in accordance with rules.
Officials were instructed to personally inspect ward boundaries to avoid ambiguity and ensure lawful voter list preparation.
