Calcutta HC quashes case against minor for rash driving

A young boy was accused of driving a car with a blue beacon and a 'Judge' board in Kolkata, breaking traffic rules.

The police charged him with rash driving and other offenses.

The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) was supposed to finish their investigation within four months, but they didn't.

The court said the JJB didn't give good reasons for the delay, so they had to drop the case.

The court also warned that people shouldn't use the rules for young people to avoid punishment for serious crimes.
