Chintai and MAJV Launch Massive Nature-Based Asset Tokenization
Chintai, a company that helps turn real-world assets into digital tokens, has teamed up with a group called the Maluku Archipelago Joint Venture (MAJV).
Together, they are working on a big project in Indonesia.
This project covers a huge area with many islands and aims to protect nature while also developing things like forests, mines, and fisheries.
They plan to create special digital tokens worth about $28 billion, which will be used to raise money for the project.
These tokens will be called $MLKU and will be managed in a secure and regulated way.
The goal is to use modern technology to help the environment and the local economy grow in a sustainable way.
Chintai and MAJV have partnered to tokenize $28 billion worth of nature-based assets in Indonesia's Maluku and North Maluku provinces.
The project covers 1,400 islands and 710,000 square kilometers, focusing on ecological preservation and sustainable development.
The token, designated as $MLKU with a supply of 1 billion, will be initially offered to institutional investors.
Chintai provides regulated tokenization infrastructure and risk management frameworks for the project.
The collaboration aims to set a new benchmark in the digital asset sector and reinforce Singapore's position in regulated digital assets.
