Himachal CM Blames BJP for Neglecting Hamirpur, Highlights Development Projects
The leader of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Sukhu, said that a different political party (BJP) didn't pay enough attention to the Hamirpur area when they were in charge.
He mentioned that even though there were local leaders from that party, they weren't given important jobs.
Mr. Sukhu explained that a new hospital there was actually started by a former Prime Minister, not by the BJP, and his current government is putting in a lot of money to finish it and make it modern.
He also talked about many new things his government is doing, like building a big sports stadium, a place for rafting, and improving schools and health centers to help everyone in Hamirpur.
He promised to fix problems and make sure the area gets the development it needs.
Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu alleged that Hamirpur district was neglected during the previous BJP government's tenure under Jai Ram Thakur.
Sukhu stated that the Hamirpur Medical College was sanctioned by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, not the previous BJP government.
The current government has allocated an additional ₹400 crore to complete the Hamirpur Medical College and is modernizing medical equipment across the state.
Several new infrastructure projects were announced, including an indoor stadium, rafting complex, health sub-centre, and a primary health centre.
Sukhu also announced the conversion of Kangu School to a CBSE-affiliated school and provided grants for local Mahila Mandals.
