Brendan Taylor Surpasses Tendulkar as Longest-Serving ODI Player

Brendan Taylor is a cricket player from Zimbabwe.

On Tuesday, he played in a one-day international match against Australia in Harare.

That appearance made his ODI career longer than Sachin Tendulkar’s.

Taylor’s career lasted more than 22 years.

Tendulkar still has the most ODI runs and the most ODI appearances.

Taylor has scored many runs and 11 centuries for Zimbabwe.

He retired in 2021 and was later banned for three and a half years.

He returned in 2025 as Zimbabwe prepared for the next ODI World Cup.
