Ministers defend SIT, condemn phone tapping
Two ministers, Vakiti Srihari and Adluri Lakshman, spoke to the media in Hyderabad.
They said that no leader is above the law and that former chief ministers have cooperated with investigations in the past.
They criticized the BRS party for protesting against a phone tapping investigation, asking why they would protest if they had done nothing wrong.
Srihari called phone tapping shameful and mentioned that a lot of money was wasted in a big project called Kaleshwaram.
He also said that some important computer parts were missing from an office and that a former officer might be involved.
Lakshman said the BRS is trying to make the investigation political for their own benefit and that surveillance was used to scare businessmen.
Both ministers said the investigation is independent and not about taking revenge on anyone.
Ministers Vakiti Srihari and Adluri Lakshman defended the SIT probe and condemned phone tapping as shameful.
They criticized the BRS for protesting the investigation, questioning the need if no wrongdoing occurred.
