Madhya Pradesh to Implement UN Sustainable Development Goals
The government of Madhya Pradesh is starting a plan to help the state reach the United Nations' goals for a better world.
These goals, called SDGs, aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure everyone has a good life.
Over the next five years, the state will spend money to assess how well it's doing.
Districts will be ranked, and the top two will receive prize money to improve their performance.
This plan is part of a larger effort called 'Developed Madhya Pradesh @ 2047,' showing the state's commitment to long-term sustainable development.
Madhya Pradesh will conduct a statewide SDG Assessment Plan from 2025 to 2030.
The plan's total expenditure will be around Rs 19.10 crore over five years.
Districts will be ranked based on their SDG performance via a dashboard.
