Nashik Industrialists Demand Concrete Roads After Fatal Pothole
In Nashik, a big group of factory owners met to talk about bad roads.
A pothole killed a man named Nilesh Kotkar, and the roads are still in bad shape.
They want the government to fix the roads with strong concrete.
If the government doesn’t act, they say they will protest loudly.
They also want better street lights and drainage.
The meeting will happen again soon with city officials to try to fix the problem.
Industrialists in Nashik’s Ambad and Satpur estates call for concrete road reconstruction after a pothole caused the death of Nilesh Kotkar.
A joint meeting of association presidents warned that failure to act could trigger a large‑scale public agitation.
The meeting demanded immediate action from the Divisional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, and MIDC officials.
The associations highlighted neglect of roads, streetlights, and drainage despite timely tax payments.
A resolution was passed to unite all district industrial bodies if authorities do not respond within two days.
