Arunachal Deputy CM Seeks Centre Support for Northeast Power Grid

Arunachal Deputy CM Seeks Centre Support for Northeast Power Grid

Arunachal Pradesh wants to make electricity supplies across the Northeast stronger and more reliable.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein asked the central government to keep providing money for this work.

The plan includes improving equipment that monitors and manages the power system.

It also includes systems that can help restore electricity after serious damage.

Mein said Arunachal Pradesh needs new transmission lines and substations because it plans to generate more hydropower.

He especially mentioned a proposed substation near Kimin.

This project could help reduce voltage problems and power cuts in nearby areas.

The leaders said a stronger grid would help the region grow and use more electricity safely.
