Podcast 'Avenger' to Become Feature Film
Imagine a podcast about a brave person named Miriam who was kidnapped because of her political beliefs.
She was thrown into a dark prison during a dangerous time in Argentina.
After surviving, she became a journalist and fought for justice against the bad guys who hurt her.
This podcast is now becoming a movie!
The movie will be made by the same director who did the podcast, and the movie will be directed by a new person, Natalia Beristáin.
This story is about standing up for what's right and never giving up.
Podcast 'Avenger' tells the story of Miriam Lewin's imprisonment during Argentina's military junta.
The podcast starred Alexis Bledel as the voice of Lewin.
The podcast is being adapted into a feature film.
Natalia Beristáin will write and direct the film.
