Kerala Medical Services Complied With Rabies Vaccine Rules: Nadda
The Health Minister said that the Kerala Medical Services Corporation followed all the rules when buying and distributing rabies vaccines.
This means they made sure the vaccines were safe by getting certificates from a special lab.
To make sure the vaccines work, they need to be made in a licensed place and must be kept cold while they are being transported.
The government checks every batch to make sure it's safe before it can be used.
Union Health Minister J P Nadda stated that Kerala Medical Services Corporation (KMSCL) adhered to regulations.
KMSCL obtained batch release certificates from the Central Drugs Laboratory (CDL) for rabies vaccines and immunoglobulins.
Mandatory quality requirements include manufacturing and import licenses, and compliance with Indian Pharmacopoeia standards.
CDL in Kasauli releases each vaccine batch before sale and distribution.
Proper cold chain logistics, storage, and packaging are essential for preserving vaccine potency.
