Food Safety Action Recommended Against 24 More UP Establishments

Food safety teams checked restaurants, hotels and other food businesses in six Uttar Pradesh districts.

They visited 317 establishments on Friday.

The teams checked whether kitchens were clean and food was stored safely.

They also looked for insects, rats, poor drainage and expired ingredients.

Inspectors found problems at many locations.

Officials recommended licence suspension or other legal action against 24 establishments.

Another 174 establishments were told to improve their conditions.

The campaign will continue to help ensure that food businesses follow safety rules.
