Pilipinas Pickleball Intercollegiate Championship Makes Historic Debut
A new pickleball tournament for college students in the Philippines is happening for the first time ever on November 15th.
It's called the Pilipinas Pickleball Intercollegiate Championship.
Seven universities, including big names like UST and UP, are joining.
They will play different kinds of matches, like boys' and girls' doubles, and mixed doubles.
This event is special because it's the very first time students from different colleges will compete in pickleball together at a national level.
The organizers hope this will make more schools start their own pickleball teams and give more student-athletes a chance to play.
It's going to be held at the Quantum Clubhouse in Las Piñas City.
