Mehta Foundation Supports IITs in Education, Innovation and Research
The Mehta Family Foundation, started by Rahul Mehta, helps colleges called IITs in India.
They give money and help create programs, like those for biosciences, AI, and sustainability.
They don't just give money; they work with the IITs to design courses, find good teachers, and help students do research.
This helps students learn about new things and do research that can change the world.
The goal is to make education better in India by creating opportunities and encouraging innovation.
Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) partners with IITs to establish academic centers, offering degree programs and research support.
MFF was founded in 1996 by Rahul Mehta to honor his parents, focusing on education and innovation for societal impact.
MFF collaborates with IITs on infrastructure, curriculum, faculty, and research, emphasizing impact over mere funding.
The foundation has funded centers at IITs for biosciences, AI, sustainability, and health sciences, among others.
MFF aims to expand its reach, supporting 10,000 students in cutting-edge fields within the next 10 years.
