Delhi Fashion Week included a special show about the cultures of Northeast India.

The show displayed traditional fabrics, clothing and designs in modern styles.

Designers and weavers from Meghalaya presented clothing made with Ryndia silk.

Dancer Kanchan Chakma was the showstopper for that collection.

Models also wore traditional clothes representing the Seven Sister states.

The event showed how women and craftspeople help preserve important traditions.

It also showed how fashion can help Northeast artists and businesses reach more people.
