Inquiry Report Calls Justice Varma's Burnt Cash Reply Evasive

A very important judge in India named Justice Yashwant Varma had a big problem with his home.

In March 2025, there was a fire at the judge's official house.

When firefighters came to put out the fire, they found piles of burnt money.

The money was made up of small notes worth 500 rupees each.

Nobody could explain why so much money was there.

A special team was asked to look into what happened, and they wrote a long report that was 126 pages.

The report said the judge's answer about the money was not honest, complete, or satisfactory.

It also said there was no proof that someone was trying to trick or frame the judge.

Fire and police workers said they saw piles of notes while fighting the fire.

Now a news channel called Republic has seen the full report, so the public can learn what it found.
