Andhra Pradesh Forms New Districts
The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to create two new districts: Markapur and Konaseema.
This is because people in these areas had to travel very far to reach their district headquarters, which was difficult.
The areas are also quite backward, with most people working in agriculture.
A local leader, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, asked the government to do this, and the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, agreed.
The new districts will make it easier for people to access government services and travel less far for official work.
