Anushka Sharma’s Chole Bhature Order Transforms Mumbai Restaurant’s Business
Delhi Se is a small restaurant in Mumbai that sells chole bhature.
Two brothers started it with only three tables and nine seats.
After sales fell, they were thinking about closing the restaurant.
A comedian named Abhishek Upmanyu visited and recommended it online.
Later, Anushka Sharma ordered food from the restaurant for Virat Kohli.
She also posted that the restaurant made chole bhature that tasted like it was from Delhi.
Many more people came after her post.
The owners say their monthly sales grew from about ₹1 lakh–₹1.5 lakh to around ₹2 crore.
Delhi Se, a small Chembur restaurant founded by brothers Jaspal Singh Khalsa and Mahinder Singh Khalsa, was reportedly nearing closure in September 2022.
