Cummins, Hazlewood may miss Pakistan series for T20 WC
Australia's cricket team has some players who might not be able to play in the upcoming series against Pakistan because they are injured.
These players are Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Tim David.
The team's selector, George Bailey, thinks that Hazlewood and David might be ready for the T20 World Cup, but Cummins might need more time to recover.
The team has other players who can bowl spin, like Matt Kuhnemann and Cooper Connolly.
They might also consider Ben Dwarshuis if there are more injury problems.
The team is planning carefully to make sure they have the best players ready for the World Cup.
Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Tim David are injured and may miss the Pakistan T20I series.
George Bailey, Australia's chair of selectors, is confident Hazlewood and David will be fit for the T20 World Cup.
Cummins' availability for the World Cup depends on a scan later this month.
Australia's early World Cup matches in Sri Lanka could allow flexibility in team combinations.
Spin options include Matt Kuhnemann, Cooper Connolly, Adam Zampa, and Glenn Maxwell.
