Karnataka to Conduct Fresh Caste Re-Enumeration in 60-70 Days
The Karnataka government, led by the Chief Minister, is going to do a new count of different castes in the state.
This is because the old count is almost ten years old, and the Congress party leaders said it needs to be updated.
The new count will happen in the next couple of months.
Some groups weren't happy with the last survey, and the new count is meant to make sure everyone is included.
They are not throwing out the old data, just updating it.
