Goldman Sachs Warns AI Could Reshape Middle Management

Artificial intelligence is changing how banks organize work.

Kevin Sneader of Goldman Sachs said new employees may soon manage AI helpers instead of waiting years to manage people.

That could change what middle managers do, and companies do not yet know what will happen to those jobs.

AI may also do some of the basic analysis and preparation that junior workers used to do.

Sandra Peterson said this could change the traditional career ladder at professional firms.

Singapore's financial regulator says bank workers will need to learn how to supervise AI agents.

Singapore is also training bank staff and working with universities to prepare graduates.

Sneader said AI tools may also make it easier for people to start businesses.
