America's Contrasting Immigration and Foreign Policy
America is a country that attracts many talented people from around the world, including a lot of Indians.
This is good because these people help make American companies and universities better.
However, America also does things that are not so good, like interfering in other countries' affairs and being mean to immigrants.
The current president, Donald Trump, is making things worse by not letting in as many immigrants and being tough on America's friends.
This is sad for people who like America and good for people who don't.
It's like when a big kid in school is nice to some kids but mean to others, and then starts being mean to everyone.
America attracts talented immigrants, including 5 million Indians, which benefits its economy and institutions.
The US has a history of intervening in other countries, causing harm to millions of people.
President Trump's policies are making it harder for immigrants to come to the US, which is hurting the economy.
The US is also being more aggressive towards its allies and continuing its imperialist tendencies abroad.
These actions are damaging America's reputation and its own systems in the short and long term.
