Keralam Completes 568 Projects, Starts Government File-Clearing Drive

Keralam’s government says it finished 568 of the 588 projects it set out to complete in a 100-day programme.

The other 20 projects were reported to be more than 90% complete.

Chief Minister V D Satheesan announced a new drive called Janasparsham to work through government files that have been waiting for decisions.

The drive is planned to run from October 15 to December 31.

The government says about 2.76 lakh electronic files are pending, along with physical files.

Officials will study why files get delayed and how to prevent similar delays.

A public website will let people and the media follow project progress.

The government also reported paying educational benefits to more than 1.7 lakh eligible students and starting projects at Vizhinjam.
