Mexico Freezes Miss Universe Co-Owner’s Accounts in Crime Probe

Mexico has frozen the bank accounts of Raúl Rocha Cantú, a Mexican businessman who co-owns the Miss Universe organization, as part of an investigation into organized crime.

This includes drug and arms trafficking, and fuel theft.

Rocha Cantú's company, Legacy Holding Group USA, owns 50% of Miss Universe.

The other 50% is owned by a Thai company, JKN Global Group Public Co.

Ltd., which is co-owned by Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip.

A Thai court has also issued an arrest warrant for Jakrajutatip due to a fraud case.

Both individuals are facing legal troubles, with Rocha Cantú being investigated since November 2024 and Jakrajutatip's court hearing rescheduled for December 26.

Additionally, Rocha Cantú was previously linked to a casino attack in 2011 that resulted in 52 deaths.
