Gold Prices See Monthly Gain Amid Global Demand and Central Bank Purchases
Gold and silver prices went up a lot in October, making them more valuable for the whole month.
This happened because people around the world wanted to buy more gold, especially during festivals like Diwali.
Big banks in different countries also bought a lot of gold.
Gold is also seen as a safe place to keep your money when the stock market is a bit shaky.
However, on Friday, the prices opened a little lower because the US dollar became stronger.
Experts think gold might stay around the same price for a while, or go up a little, depending on what happens with the US economy and trade talks between the US and China.
For next month, gold prices are expected to trade within a certain range, with key levels to watch out for.
Gold prices are poised for a third consecutive monthly gain, showing a 5% rise in October and reaching record highs.
Factors contributing to the October rally include strong global demand, investor risk aversion, festive season buying, and central bank purchases.
On Friday, MCX gold opened lower at ₹1,21,148 per 10 grams and MCX silver at ₹1,48,140 per kg, influenced by a strong dollar and international market weakness.
Central banks purchased 220 tons of gold in Q3, with Kazakhstan and Brazil leading the way, supporting the upward price trend.
The outlook for November suggests potential sideways movement or consolidation, with key levels to watch in both international and domestic markets, influenced by the US dollar and Federal Reserve decisions.
